Jess was born in Albert Lea, MN and raised in small town Buffalo Center, Iowa.  She has two older sisters, two puppies, and niblings that she adores!  She begged her parents to perform at a young age and instead of going to preschool, she was placed in her first dance class.  She has not looked back since!  From there, she wanted to keep entertaining with dancing, singing, and acting and decided to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree as a Theatre Generalist and with a Dance Minor.

Jess was recently seen on stage at Carowinds Amusement Park as a singer/dancer on the Holly Jolly Trolley. Jess was the choreographer for Riverland Community College for the musicals Fly By Night and Camelot and for Highland Summer Professional Theatre for the musicals Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Shrek The Musical.  She also was seen on stage in Shrek The Musical as Humpty Dumpty, a Duloc Dancer, and a Rat Tapper.
